Shopee 9.9: we recorded the prices first
Sale-day discounts are measured against a "usual price" the seller chooses on the day. We chose ours before the sale: on 25 Aug 2026 we froze the normal price of 750 items across 15 categories, computed from 25 days of our own daily price records (30 Jul 2026 to 25 Aug 2026). The baseline is committed to a public code repository and cannot be quietly edited.
Each row shows the price the item normally sits at — the most common price across the window, never the highest, because a single spiked day would manufacture a discount — and what it costs in our newest daily record (16 Oct 2026). The baseline column is what any 9.9 sticker was actually discounting from, and it is still what today's price should be read against.
As of 16 Oct 2026: 102 of the 612 items we can compare today sit meaningfully below their normal price. This page's job is the numbers; each name links to the listing on Shopee and carries no claim beyond them. Deals that pass our full assessment appear on the front page.

First, the thing nobody tells you: Shopee prices swing about 11% anyway
Shopee's own product feed does not carry one price per item. It alternates between two whole-catalogue price lists and switches every item at once, with no sale attached. We have caught it happening 11 times in 75 days of records:
| Switch day | Items repriced | Typical change |
|---|---|---|
| 2 Aug 2026 | 4,051 | -11.1% |
| 14 Aug 2026 | 3,126 | +13.3% |
| 15 Aug 2026 | 4,033 | -10.0% |
| 19 Aug 2026 | 4,229 | +11.5% |
| 25 Aug 2026 | 3,510 | -10.4% |
| 29 Aug 2026 | 3,957 | +11.4% |
| 2 Sept 2026 | 3,513 | -11.4% |
| 19 Sept 2026 | 3,630 | +14.1% |
| 25 Sept 2026 | 3,208 | -10.0% |
| 1 Oct 2026 | 3,640 | +9.5% |
| 2 Oct 2026 | 2,865 | -11.1% |
What this means for a sale price: a discount smaller than about 11% may not be a sale price at all — it may simply be the cheaper of two lists that alternate every week or two regardless. On 6 of those days the catalogue got cheaper and on 5 it got dearer, so the same item can look "discounted" one morning and full price the next without anyone announcing anything.
That is exactly why the table below compares against a modal price recorded over weeks rather than against yesterday, and why a deal only reaches our front page if its lower price survived one of these switches.

* 96 listings are not compared: the seller prices the listing's variants differently, and the feed gives one price per listing without saying which variant it belongs to, so two of its prices could belong to two different products. They are shown with no normal price, are not counted among the items below their normal price, and are left out of each category's median.
Questions people ask about 9.9
When is Shopee 9.9 in Singapore in 2026?
Shopee's 9.9 Super Shopping Day fell on Wednesday 9 September 2026, and the campaign runs 1-17 September. Prices moved throughout, which is exactly why a baseline recorded beforehand is worth more than a sticker read on the day.
Are Shopee 9.9 discounts real?
Some are, and the way to tell is to compare against what the item normally costs rather than against a sticker. We record the price of every product in Shopee Singapore's affiliate feed daily. Across 75 days we caught the feed switching its entire price list 11 times — every item repriced at once, no sale attached, by about 11% each way. So a "discount" shallower than that may simply be the cheaper of two lists that alternate anyway. Of the 612 baselined items we can compare today, 102 sit meaningfully below their own normal price. The other 138 of the 750 cannot be compared today: they are not in today's feed, or sell variants at different prices.
How can I check whether a Shopee discount is real?
Compare the sale price against what the item normally costs, not against the crossed-out number the seller sets. We publish both: this page lists the normal price of 750 items across 15 categories, frozen on 25 Aug 2026 before the sale existed, and our price checker at /check/ covers every product we track with its full recorded history.
What does "normal price" mean on this page?
The price the listing sat at most often across our recording window — the mode, not the average and never the maximum. A single spiked day would manufacture a discount, so the highest price we ever saw is deliberately not used. Where two prices appear equally often, we take the dearer one, because that is the price a shopper meets outside a campaign.
Which categories does the 9.9 baseline cover?
15 categories: Refrigerators, Ovens, Headphones & earbuds, Fans & cooling, Air purifiers, Water dispensers & filters, Air Fryers, Beauty sets, Vacuum cleaners, Face serums & essences, Face moisturisers, Body wash & soap, Toner, Eye creams, Face sunscreen. A category is included only if it has at least three independent brand groups and three separate storefronts — a price is only comparable against a genuinely independent one, so a single seller's own range cannot tell us what a thing is worth. Supplements and sized clothing are excluded on principle: we can substantiate a price, but not an effect or a fit.
Were things actually cheaper on 9.9?
We recorded through it rather than guessing. The deepest fall against a normal price anywhere in our baseline, as of 16 Oct 2026, is 51%. Every reading behind that number is published, so the claim can be checked rather than taken.
We have assessed these on these 9.9 shelves
This page is about price and says nothing about whether a product is worth owning. These we checked in full — comparable listings, variant, stock and all — and wrote down what the verdict rests on.

How to read this honestly
- The "normal price" is the modal price over our window — the number the item sat at most often, not the highest we ever saw.
- Shopee's own price feed alternates between two whole-catalogue price lists; we measured it. A one-day dip is not a deal, which is why our own published deals require a drop that survives that switching.
- Items are limited to categories with at least three independent brand groups and three storefronts — one seller's own range cannot establish a market price, so we do not treat it as one.
- Supplements and sized clothing are excluded on principle: we can substantiate a price but not an effect or a fit.
