What we did not check
- Whether any of them cleans air as claimed. Room coverage, CADR and filter grade are the seller's figures and we have not tested them.
- The running cost of replacement filters, which can exceed the machine over a few years.
- Noise levels, which the listings state inconsistently or not at all.
